As a native of the Netherlands and having played a little soccer myself, I wanted to bring out the struggle for the ball in the sport. Please note the way the player are “lined up” in the design. From right to left it gives the viewer the feeling that the players are falling over. The eight-inch-tall sculpture sells for $4,500 in bronze.
